Updates from the Chancellor
The NYC Department of Education & the Chancellor provide updates on an ongoing basis.
RHS Emergency Blue Cards
Be sure to submit your emergency blue card for your child so we have up-to-date contact and health information on file.
You can also update all emergency contact information through your NYC Schools Account.
Contact our main office at 718-430-6390, ext. 3631 to update your information.
Staff Directory
Request New Cell Phone Bag or ID
Renaissance students: If you need a new cell phone bag or ID complete the request form and it will be delivered to your 7th period class within 24 hours of your request.
Staying in Touch- Texts from RHS
Renaissance staff uses Kinvolved to be able to send and receive texts from parents and students. Information about attendance, progress and upcoming events are shared via Kinvolved texts. If you do not receive texts from Renaissance, please email Wendy Cabeda at wcabeda@schools.nyc.gov and provide your cell phone number, your name and child's name.
Renaissance Google Classroom
Students should use their NYC Student Email Google Accounts to login to their Google Classrooms & check their emails for important updates.
Forgot your NYC Email address? Contact your teacher who can look it up for you.
If you forgot your password, contact any of your teachers to reset it.
Applying for Working Papers
To apply for working papers students need the following:
- Completed NYS Working Papers Application signed by a parent/guardian
- Documentation from doctor saying student is fit to work
- Social Security Card
- Photo ID
- Birth Certificate
